Part Time/Overhire Box Office & FOH WantedThe Shea Center for Performing Arts at William Paterson University is seeking qualified personnel for the following paid positions. Events include both professional touring artists and university based events. Pay ranges from $13 - $26 an hour based on position and experience.Box Office Manager- 30 hour per week position. Manage box office and train, oversee and schedule box office clerks and front of house staff. Includes both day-to-day operations and working events (including nights and weekends). Familiarity with Theatre Manager box office software a plus. Rate negotiable.Box Office Clerks- part time, includes selling tickets, answering phones, data entry and other tasks associated with the box office. Includes daytime, evening and event shifts. Can also work as ushers or front of house positions for extra hours. Hours available depend upon employee availability and event schedule.House Managers- Overhire per event basis. Oversee front of house for a variety of events (concerts, theatre, lecture, etc.). Hours available depend upon employee availability and event schedule.Ushers/Concessions- Overhire per event basis. Greet and seat patrons, hand out programs, scan tickets, sell concessions and artist merchandise. Hours available depend upon employee availability and event schedule.Please note that a car is required for most positions due to limited mass transportation options.
