Our Community can be found talking 24/7 on our community platform, Geneva, engaging across our social platforms, and being featured on talk show POVz. launching this year. We're on a mission to empower one million Gen Z'ers to have echo chamber-breaking conversations.What we're looking forThe Conversationalist is looking for a DROCK style videographer located in New York City to lead the live filming of our in-studio talk show, POVz, as well as “on the street” interview-style videos. This individual will be involved in the creative and day-to-day production of POVz. Working alongside our host and our partners at MasterMynd Media, you will help shepherd the production of our talk show from start to finish.Our ideal candidate maintains their own video and audio recording equipment, has experience editing and using video editing software, can analyze performance results, and enjoys presenting a complete, polished project on deadline. Since we commonly use these videos on social media for promotion, it is important that the product is crafted for each specific platform. Candidates who are producer-focused and editorially minded are preferred.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with the Host of POVz to bring the show to life.Record video using professional equipment in a studio and on the streets.Post-production video editingSet-up lighting and audio equipmentMaintain equipmentTravel with Host to different cities around the US to capture footage.QualificationsA minimum of 3 years of experience using professional recording equipment.Knowledge of video editing software, including Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effect.Manage video projects from concept through production to final delivery.Writing, producing, and new media background and familiarity with various video platforms - TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.Strong production and project management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects.Ability to work independently and on a team, and to stay within budget.What To ExpectIntake Round: Submit an application for the Videographer position at the following link: https://theconversationalist.typeform.com/to/md1Qm...Round 1: If chosen to move forward, 30-minute interviews with TC executivesRound 2: Interview with TC’s CEO and Host of POVz, Sophie BerenRound 3: Join TC for a trial period project to determine if the role is a mutual fitProject will include a day of recording street-style interviews with Sophie in New York City and editing five short-form clips for a rate of $500.Round 4: If the role is a mutual fit, receive an expanded position with TC as our VideographerWe have designed our hiring process to ensure that both prospective hires and TC feel confident in the decision and share a mutual fit.
