  JOB DUTIES:

  
  

  80% - Makes and presents forecasts – Represents the station in accurately presenting the forecast.  Ensures that it is available to our viewers on all platforms.  

  
  

  20% - Serves as a weather reporter for daily turns and special coverage.

  
  

  JOB TASKS:

  
  

  Makes and presents forecasts – 80%

  Makes and presents forecasts of on-air and on all mobile platforms.

  Also prepares and presents forecasts for our radio partners.

  Uses equipment and stays up to date on technology to deliver the most accurate forecasts

  A clear communicator to the viewer and to staff members on all shifts.

   Must be flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts.

  Weather reporter – 20%

  Responsible for pitching weather related stories for the all platforms.

  Must be able to work with a photographer on crafting those stories in a manner that is true to our brand and research.

  Ability to write and produce stories and present them live

  Qualifications:

  Education:

  Meteorology Degree

  Experience:

  Minimum of 2 years television Meteorology experience

  Additional Requirements AMS seal with the credentials to earn a CBM seal.
