About me
A producer /engineer/sound designer for over 20 years, Tim O’Heir began his career at the legendary Fort Apache Studios in Boston.A founder and partner of Fort Apache /MCA Records, he spent most of the ‘90s working with many influential artists such as Buffalo Tom, Come, Sebadoh, Superdrag and Jay Mascis, as well as producing the soundtrack to the critically lauded film Kids.
Upon relocating to New York in 1999, he expanded his resume by engineering, mixing and editorial work on films including Hedwig and the Angry Inch, In Good Company, In the Land of Women and The Savages. A platinum-selling producer, Tim O’Heir has worked with the bands The All American Rejects, StellaStarr* and Say Anything (among others). He’s also extended his work to include sound design for theatre.
Tim was nominated for a 2014 Tony award for Best Sound Design for a Musical for Hedwig and the Angry Inch and a 2015 Grammy award for Best Musical Theatre recording for the Hedwig cast album.
