We are a nonprofit global public broadcast organization focusing on producing programs. We are looking for a talented makeup artist to join our interviews, shooting team. We are producing a series of in-person interview shows in the New York City area.Job Description: Using current makeup trends and techniques, we need you to apply makeup to create a professional/natural look for each unique client. The Makeup Artist will need to be adaptable to meet the needs to accommodate all types. Each MUA must be excel in color theory. The MUA will need your own makeup kit with good standing tools and accommodations for all looks and types. You must practice standard sanitation procedures. Be ready to commit to the original makeup look, receive suggestions and perform touch-ups as needed. Basic Qualifications: Quality portfolio. Prefer formal training in cosmetology. Detail-oriented High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task Capable of problem-solving Excellent verbal communication skills Experience in working in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, with the ability to remain calm, kind, flexible, and efficient.
