Seeking a VFX supervisor for "Decomposer," an independent horror film to be shot in Asheville, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects that bring a completeness to this world that's otherwise being accomplished with practical effects and SFX makeup. Production states: "Decomposer is an existentialist 'eco-horror' movie, shooting on film, looking to make a festival run and hope to distribute the film with a small theater circuit before it lives on streaming platforms. We are a kind group of indie filmmakers from around the world, excited about this feature, and look forward to finding someone who is able to analyze this script and bring it to life. We are happy to go into more details on rate/hours breakdown if we've found you're a good candidate for the position. We would love to discuss a bid for this position. As we are a lower budget feature, we have limited the total number of our VFX shots, and appreciate a candidate who is willing to work with us to find the sweet spot of rate we can work with and a number of shots fitting for that rate that also accomplish the needs of our film.
