As a Creative Director in one of the MF foreign offices, the role requires a high level of autonomy and great communication skills to be able to manage projects and teams remotely.

As a true interface between the Moment Factory team, the client, partners and vendors, they are a figure-head for the company, working hand in hand with the Producer carrying out the studio’s business development strategies. The “foreign office” creative director is responsible for supporting and analysing market strategies in collaboration with the Producers, actively participating in developing partnerships and viable business opportunities in targeted industries to meet the studio’s growth objectives.
They ensure the promotion and faithful representation of the studio, in keeping with its overall objectives.

The international office creative director should possess a good understanding of all the market sectors (units) within the company in order to qualify leads and create good foundations with which to collaborate with unit CDs.

Aside from biz-dev, the international office CD is also required to lead projects when necessary, sometimes assuming both MD / CD roles. The foregin offices can be compared to a Startup and each member of the team will be involved in a wide range of activities with a priority on developing the business and meeting with clients to support projects in production. The regional nature of the work will require frequent travel in the territory as well as to Canada for training and management meetings as well as working across multiple time zones.
