We are looking for a Vice President of Production to lead operationalizing a strategic vision for our News Network's original content production. The ideal candidate has proven success in managing complex teams and projects, has a strong understanding of editorial strategy, and is an expert in finding innovative and effective ways to bring creative vision to life. This position is located in New York City, NY – This role is being offered as a Hybrid schedule where you will be expected to be in the office a few times a week.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESOversee execution of programming strategyDirect the development of production schedules, budgets, and logisticsManage resources such as field teams, technical operations, editors, Media Production resources, and other operational functionsResponsible for the direction, management, and coordination of business, administrative, logistical, and technical aspects of productionsDirect and ensure that productions uphold network creative, technical, and business goalsDirect and ensure the timely availability of important resources, talent, and equipmentResolve problems or conflicts that hinder the completion of programs within budget and according to specificationInteract with senior management with plans and strategies impacting production initiativesBuild and enhance high-level internal and external relationshipsCoordinate with creative, technical operations, engineering, and post-production functions both internally and externally
