With the retirement of our longstanding and inspiring MD John Frith, the Ross Penyard Singers are seeking a new Musical Director.We are a forty-strong community choir based in Ross- on -Wye.Membership and ability is mixed, but all members derive huge enjoyment and fun from the weekly term time rehearsals and twice yearly performances.  We have a mixed repertoire of music, both classical and otherwise. Ten members of the choir performed solos at our last concert in June.Prior experience with choral works and musical arrangement would distinguish a candidate.The MD will be required to lead, conduct and encourage the choir, whilst ensuring all derive a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction from their efforts.Good people skills, reliability and a sense of humour will be essential and an ability to play the piano/keyboard would be a bonus.Currently on summer break following school terms, choir rehearsals restart on Wednesday Sept 5th at Ashfield Park Primary School, HR9 5AU
