TEGNA Media -12 News is looking for a talented, experienced Photojournalist with a proven track record to join the Morning team.  The ideal candidate would have the speed of a news photographer, the creative eye of an artist and more than a little bit of magic.  If you are a visual storyteller, creative, and have a passion for producing great television stories, we want to hear from you.Brief Description of Duties-Videotape and edit assorted feature stories for Morning and other Local Programming broadcast and digital products.-Capture high quality, dynamic video and crisp sound in real time.-Collaborate with producers and reporters as well as the public and guests.-Creative video editing to include shot selection, audio mixing, and use of music to tell memorable stories.-Post production and multi-layered non-linear editing of stories and the final shows.-Produce both scripted and natural sound stories and other interstitial material for local programs.-Write copy for show and Web site as needed.JOB REQUIREMENTSQualifications-Self-starter who is capable of enterprising original content.-College degree or equivalent experience preferred.-Minimum 5 years’ shooting and editing experience with extensive knowledge of non-linear editing systems preferred.-Writing and producing skills highly desired.-Team player with a passion for creative storytelling.-Ability to consistently turn out high quality work under daily pressure deadlines.-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.-Ability to make quick decisions and work independently.-Valid driver’s license.
