    Brighton Dome & Festival are seeking talented event professionals to duty event manage during the Brighton Festival 2018. We need proactive and confident people who are able to deal effectively with visitors and artists, time manage, think on their feet and work on their own initiative to respond to the exciting and demanding Festival environment.

    We are seeking candidates with experience of working front of house with a knowledge of health & safety, fire procedures and security, but we are particularly interested to hear from people who also have experience in outdoor or pop up venues either front of house or in production to work with us to manage our events at external and temporary venues.

    These positions present an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our visitors experience of the Brighton Festival 2018, guest directed by David Shrigley.

    1x Fixed Term – Pivot – 160 hours over 4 weeks + any overtime paid hourly

    We are looking for one Festival Duty Event Manager to look after this interactive installation throughout the Festival. Hours will be set in advance but we require flexibility and full availability throughout the four weeks from 30th April. Applicants should feel at home in an outdoors environment.

    2 x Fixed Term - 111 hours over 4 weeks

    We are looking for two Festival Duty Event Managers to look after a variety of Festival events in a variety of venues including churches, community centres, theatres, woods and the beach. We require full availability across the four weeks of the Festival although hours will vary from week to week. 111 hours will be the minimum allocated and all hours worked above this will be paid. A variety of shift patterns e.g. late nights, early mornings are to be expected. These roles require working every weekend during the Festival.

    2 x Casual

    We are looking for two casual Festival Duty Event Managers to look after a variety of Festival events in a variety of venues including churches, community centres, theatres, woods and the beach. We require full availability across the four weeks of the Festival although hours will vary from week to week. A variety of shift patterns e.g. late nights, early mornings are to be expected. Candidates must be fully available for the four weekends of the Festival to be considered. There will be no guaranteed hours but a successful candidate may expect to be booked for around 80 hours across the four weeks of the Festival.
