I'm seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated intern to assist with all areas of pre-production on my first feature, which will shoot in July. The main areas currently are casting, fund and resource-raising and creating an online presence for the film.I could use help currently researching and developing my business plan, developing and maintaining a contacts list of my potential investors, donors and other supporters, developing an online presence and social media campaign as well as helping with creative elements such as casting, helping to develop the lookbook and researching locations.I'll be at Sundance next week and would like to have remote assistance with keeping track and following up with contacts who I will have meetings with or who I'll meet for the first time while I'm there.I have worked extensively in both theater and film as producer, director, writer, AD and UPM. I have started three successful businesses in the past and I love working with interns and volunteers. While this is not a paid position - and currently no one on the film is being paid - I can guarantee that I'll do everything in my power to make it a worthwhile experience for them: I'll mentor the intern to learn new skills, I'll introduce them to new people and I'll attempt to connect them to paying work in their field of interest in the future.
