I'm a writer-director based in New York and am working on a short 15 min English language Musical short film about a singer/songwriter with Alzheimer's trying to recollect a song he wrote for his wife, inspired by memories of their relationship. The film is a poignant love story and I'm looking for a talented, passionate composer who can compose touching music that sets a very dreamy, romantic mood. The song needs to be composed before the film is shot so that the actor can play it on the piano. The song will have lyrics which will be written by a songwriter that I already have on board. I prefer someone who can start working on the project ASAP and give me the finished music WITHIN THREE WEEKS (the sooner the better). The job is unpaid.
