DMJ Studios is actively searching for a hardworking and creative producer with the refined skills to handle the ‘A to Z’s’ that is needed to successfully put a video shoot together and also possess a strong business acumen. The ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart -both visually and narratively- who has created content for major digital platforms. Experience pitching, writing, shooting, and editing is also required. They will also be able to lend a hand to other aspects of production as needed (ex. coordinating shoots, filming interviews, budgeting, and building graphics). The candidate can write, shoot, and work seamlessly for a wide range of clients.You will be the right-hand partner to our Creative Director and Head of Production who will delegate assignments as needed in our Long Island production office (hybrid: in-office/remote) . Ideal candidate loves production and learning about new technology, software and hardware. We want someone to jump right in and hit the ground running as we have constantly evolving workflows and protocols…we will immediately welcome the new Producer as a valued member of the team .A master at scheduling, budget prospecting, creating pitch decks, booking crews, editors, directors as well as tracking projects with scheduling and budget is all part of what we are looking for…a Swiss-Army knife producer!This position requires a highly organized person who inspires clients and crew alike. The ideal candidate is within a close radius of our offices in Cedarhurst, NY 11516, we’re next to the LIRR and it’s a 2 minute walk to our office - position would ideally be in office but open to a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.Typically we are responsible for concept to completion so this position offers a lot of creative freedom. We are looking for people who don’t make excuses but make it happen and get it done!
