Charles Swan is an artist who loves telling stories!Charles is currently represented Off-Broadway as Associate Director to Michael Wilson on Signature Theatre's revival of Horton Foote's Pulitzer Prize winning The Young Man from Atlanta.

Recently, he served as Associate Director/Choreographer to Michael Wilson on the Ahmanson Theatre & Bay Street Theatre’s production of Grey Gardens starring Tony Award Winner Betty Buckley.
Before being named ‘Best Actor in Houston’ by OutSmart Magazine (2015, 2016), Charles was seen in “The Creep” on Saturday Night Live and garnered rave reviews for his portrayal of Ralph Berger in Clifford Odets masterpiece Awake and Sing! The Wall Street Journal touted, “[the cast puts] across the play’s angry warmth so believably that you’d think you were sitting at the table with them.”
When not on stage, Charles is passionate about education reform and the growing need for increased academic achievement of all students. He was the recipient of the 2016 Educator of the Year Award from the West University Rotary Club and directed the Musical Theatre program for Houston’s prestigious High School for the Performing and Visual Arts from removed .
