    About me

    Christina Dinkel is a San Francisco based costume designer and studied theatre and design at the University of California Santa Cruz, where she received her B.A. in Theatrical Design in Art Historical Context and later completed the 5th Year Graduate Program. Her multidisciplinary approach to costume design has won her numerous awards, including the Dean’s Award for Excellence in the Arts and the Florence French Scholarship. Some of Christina's most noted works include the costume styling for Annie Sprinkle & Beth Stephen's Ecosexuals Unite at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the costume design for Jewel Theatre Company's 2011-2012 full season, Intersection for the Arts' world premiere of Tree City Legends, and the world premiere of Lauren Yee's Hookman opening at Encore Theatre Co. Christina is also a highly trained assistant costume designer, working with companies such as Magic Theatre, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, California Shakespeare Theater, and San Jose Repertory Theatre.
