About me
For the last 5 years I have worked for Norwegian Cruise Lines. During this period I have worked my way up from "sound technician" to "technical supervisor" a leadership role. As TS my role involved managing a team of lighting, sound, stage and automation technicians through day to day operations, as well as many other responsibilities such as administrative work and budget management. I coordinated events between internal clients and our guests with technical expertise. Long term projects and goals set by corporate offices were also part of my job. In the day to day operation I was overseeing up to 8 technicians over 2 major performance venues, 8 cabaret/lounge venues, and several presentation classrooms.
Before my promotion I was an audio technician for NCL. During this my job was setting up microphones, speakers, bands for day to day operations and running sound for events including broadway caliber shows such as Rock of Ages. During my years with NCL I worked on a variety of shows including magic, dance, ballet, musicals, revues, comedy, ariel acts as well as circus performances. I had the opportunity to travel the world and work with many people from around the world on extensive projects such as the dry dock and remodeling of the Pride of America ship as well as the build and take out process of the Getaway.
