-Special was inspired by Welles Crowther, also known as "The Man with the Red Bandanna," who rescued at least 12 people on 9/11 before he perished in the collapse of the World Trade Center during another attempt to rescue countless more people stuck in an elevator bank
-These Heroes included: a retired Navy SEAL who endured near-fatal wounds on the battlefield & now works to help other veterans re-integrate into society, a former homeless woman who works to provide a wide range of services, including housing, to the Las Vegas homeless community with a revolutionary approach, an Lewiston, Idaho couple who turned the grief of their son's passing from pediatric cancer to a charity which helps families dealing with a child's ailment.
