The ideal candidate will have demonstrable design and UX/UI expertise and MUST HAVE previous experience in a SAAS organisation, in particular a digital jobs platform, online network or social media platform.
In recent years there has been a shift in our user behaviour, away from desktop, with nearly 60% of our traffic accessing the site via a mobile / tablet. Despite having a responsive website a number of our features are not optimised for mobile use and need to be adapted. Design is currently under the responsibility of our 5 in-house full-stack developers.
Develop design prototypes based on discussed requirements.
Build static and dynamic web pages by converting the designs into HTML.
Design mobile-based features.
Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting if required
Collaborate with technical and management team to improve customer experience.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
Design based on industry best practices.
5+ years proven work experience as a web designer or UI/UX expert.
Hands on experience with markup languages.
Experience in web front-end technologies (CSS/Bootstrap 4/HTML/CSS)
