Aintree Racecourse is currently embarking on an ambitious redevelopment project, which will see facilities greatly improved for the 2007 John Smith's Grand National meeting.
Phase One of the project is now complete (March 2006) and incorporates a new weighing room, parade ring and winner's enclosure, together with new stables and saddling boxes. Phase two of the project (the building of two new grandstands) is currently taking place and will be completed in time for the 2007 John Smith's Grand National meeting. The two new grandstands will be named The Earl of Derby Stand and The Lord Sefton Stand.
As the redevelopment progresses, we'll be posting regular images of work in progress in this section. We hope you enjoy browsing and look forward to using our new facilities at the 2007 John Smith's Grand National meeting.
