Chapel Arts Centre, formerly known as Windows and more recently, Invention Studios, has re-opened with a lot more than a new name.
We have a new, solid and smooth wood floor, a completely state-of-the-art lighting system, the fantastic natural acoustic of the room (best in Bath!) is soon to be augmented by an excellent sound system with professional mixing desk.
There is now a full, well-stocked bar and the entire downstairs area is being refurbished.
We fully intend to operate as a community arts centre, serving all the varied residents and visitors in Bath and environs. We intend to present as wide a range of performing arts as possible, including music of all kinds (except very loud!), theatre, dance, comedy, film, poetry and multimedia combinations of all the above. We hope to be able to offer workshops and provide a space for rehearsals and learning experiences of all kinds.
We also hope to be a force in encouraging creativity in all sectors of our arts community.
As well as promoting its own events, Chapel Arts will be available for hire by organisations and independent promoters with programs that fit into our overall artistic policy – which is very broad.
Anyone interested in any aspect of Chapel Arts Centre may contact Charley Dunlap through this website.
