The Albany is a quirky but dark pub, known for it's lively and diverse crowd. It has a good selection of guest ales on the hand pumps as well as the regular continental beers; Leffe and Hoegaarden.
There is also a good selection of food, (lunch and evening snacks) which seems to be quite important to the role of the pub; see the lunchtime play and pie.
The service is good and despite the price of the food and drink, it's not much different to any other central London establishment. The club downstairs offers comedy nights, plays, performances and live DJ's.
