About me
"Boulton gives one of the most believable portrayals of a character I've seen in a long time..." - Jacob Bush, North West End, 2019.From professional street theatre, to acting on camera, to song and script writing, to devised musical theatre; I have already experienced so much more than any 17-year-old Actor could dream of. Training at LIPA Sixth Form College has been a massive part of this – currently I am working on a professional creative commission with Culture Liverpool obtained through college connections.
Outside of college, I have been keen to further my performance career from the age of 5 beginning piano and music theory lessons. Since then, I have added self-taught guitar, singing lessons, dance lessons, and song writing to my repertoire all alongside acting professionally and for amateur productions around the North West.
In addition to my extensive experience in performance, I also enjoy taking the time to explore the world through some of my favourite sports. Skiing, scuba diving, and flying are just to name a few. My creative side has also seen me find an interest in graphic design after I got an A at GCSE. It allows me to release my inner creativity in even more ways than just performance.
However, on top of my clearly vivid imagination, I consider myself to be very positive, as well as confident around new people. I am naturally a team player but love to take on a leadership role when given the opportunity, which I showed by earning top student on a leadership course a few years ago.
My dream is to take my lifelong commitment to performing, and use it to make a living, doing what I I’ve always loved to do, while earning money doing it. With the massive amounts of life experience I have at such a young age, my approach to a character is always truthful. I find connections with my role on deep, personal levels, that most wouldn’t even think of, and it is this approach – becoming my character – that makes my portrayal so believable to an audience.
Treasuring every second is just a bonus.
