About me
Andrew Lizotte is a veteran of the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and ODD Block festival. He appeared in their improv, local, nerd, and mood disorder galas. He has also been featured on CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud several times and recently shot online sketch content for CBC Comedy as well. Andrew worked as a dramaturge for The Manitoba Association of Playwrights. His play “Revenge Of The Meek” was a finalist for the Harry Rintoul Award at the 2015 Winnipeg Fringe Festival. His play “Hack” was featured at the 2016 Carol Shields Festival. Andrew also wrote for the Winnipeg sketch television program “Week Thus Far”, has written for websites like ShowbizMonkeys.com and “Girl About Town”, and received a community outreach award for his writing on the radio drama “At the Monarch's Convenience.” He studied improv for many years, and completed the intensive program at the world famous Improv Olympic in Chicago. As well as other intensives with Keven McDonald, and Paul Bellini of Kids In The Hall. Andrew is also a graduate of the Second City Long Form, and Sketch Conservatory. His comedy show Stupid Fancy, runs monthly at Comedy Bar in Toronto, and was just nominated for an independent comedy award (I Heart Jokes).Acting experience:
