About me
I was extremely lucky to be employed by the English Theatre of Hamburg (ETH) during the Covid Era, playing Annabel Chester in Alan Ayckbourn's three-hander psychological thriller "Snake in the Grass" (July-October 2020). Earlier that year (before lockdown hit us all) I played Angela Forward (a gin-drinking businesswoman with a mind of her own) in a comedy / farce called "Funny Business", also at the ETH.There were a few theatrical outings in 2021 - multiple roles in a piece of new writing about historical figures ("She Said What?" at the Haringey Fringe Festival, an edited revival of "Jellicoe, the Musical" at St Pancras Old Church, playing Edith Neville (a social reformer) and a Narrator in "Justice and Eliza Fenning" for the Friends of St George's Gardens, part of the Bloomsbury Festival.. The reading was subsequently filmed as "The Story of Eliza Fenning" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCAJYW3_r4o)
Though the years move on, I'm still credible in romantic roles, executives, professionals etc. Experienced in Shakespeare; good at comedy & drama, ie can be funny AND moving.
I also write, copy edit, research, draw, paint and engage with the public in community planning events. I travel a lot and sketch my personal 'window on the world'
