Daniel McLeod has fast become one of the UK's foremost function DJs. In the last two years alone, he has played at more than 200 weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, parties and corporate events, working alongside Lionel Richie, Jocelyn Brown, Jools Holland, Westlife, Ruth Lorenzo (X Factor), Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), Anthony Costa (Blue), Madeline Bell (Blue Minks), Emma Robbins (Sheila's Wheels), Stevie Lange and Never The Bride and DJing to Will Young, Macy Gray, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Bob Geldof, Joan Collins, Fearne Cotton, Emma Forbes, David Mitchell, Lucy Montgomery, Tessa Sanderson, The Rowan Atkinson Family, The Mittal Family, Sir Robert McAlpine, The King's Royal Hussars, HRH The Duchess of York and HRH Princess Eugenie.
Internationally, Daniel has played everywhere from French chateaux and halfway up Swiss mountains to the prestigious 7Seas in Limassol, Cyprus, the ultra-exclusive Dracula Club in St Moritz and most recently New York and San Francisco.
Daniel is also creating quite a stir on both the dubstep and rock/metal scenes, fulfilling a passion for all styles and genres of music; his extraordinarily eclectic tastes in music making him highly sought after - a true audiophile.
A classically trained musician from the age of five, Daniel plays the recorder to a post Grade 8 standard. He has also played the oboe for many years and latterly, when he took up the drums, Daniel discovered a passion for rock music which saw him playing in various bands in Edinburgh before coming to London. He is the official sound engineer for the annual Unicef charity ball and a member of Berakah, an inter-faith group of musicians from the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faith backgrounds who come together to promote inter-faith and inter-community harmony through the common language of music.
