About me
Graham Waugh was born in 1969 in Beirut,He has written the music for countless commercials and documentaries and short films.
He worked as a sound engineer in studios across London in the nineties while releasing dance and ambient tracks before setting up a Music Production Studio in Camden.
During the next ten years his work was concentrated on the Commercials industry producing music for Audi/BMW/Nike/Daewoo/BBC/Channel 4 amongst others.
After spending years working on sort 30-60 second projects Graham started composing longer form pieces for Documentaries.
During this time he started composing using orchestral players and elements while learning to play piano and guitar.
He has worked on projects such the award winning ’Superfly’ ,’What makes us Human’, ‘Less is More’ about Mies Van De Roe and the three part ’What we still Don’t Know’ featuring astronomer royal ‘Martin Rees’.
He also co-produced an album with ‘Carl Douglas’ featuring ‘Sly and Robbie’ the infamous Jamaican groove makers and also featuring work from ‘Sly and the Family Stone’
Another recording project was with “Billie Ray Martin’ the German pop diva from ‘Electribe 101’.
Graham co-produced an album with her in Memphis recording with ‘Al Green’s” backing band who played on all his hits.
Graham’s music combines real instruments and electronica with a cinematic backdrop.
Creating music for visuals has always been his driving force.
