About me
HOPE GOVERNALI (Costumes Designer/Stylist) -- Hope Governali is a New York City-based Fashion Designer and stylist. At an early age, Hope was always interested in creating things using her artistic talents whether it be through her love for fashion, sewing, photography, theatre or film. She loves the idea of creating a concept and bringing it to life. This extreme desire to create led her to travel the world and experience life around her which then gave her the individual liberty she needed to bring life to her ideas with the knowledge she collected along her journeys. Hope has a B.F.A in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has worked in various capacities directly relating to the fashion industry, in such areas as styling, design and production. Hope has a passion for working very closely with directors and performers to capture their vision in costume. Her previous theatre productions include The Tupperware Convention (Strawberry Festival), The Black Moon Theatre Company adaptation of Oscar Wilde- Salome (The Flea Theatre), An Encounter with an Angel on the 42nd Street platform (Fringe Festival), KINGS and The Spare Change Production of Chekhov's The Seagull (The Interart Development Series).Additional skills:
