About me
Creative Eccentric with a keen eye for detail.I started my career working in Fashion, assisting acclaimed designers at labels including Vivienne Westwood, Diane von Furstenberg and ‘Preen’.
I then made the jump to costume where I started working as a costumier at Angels. Whilst there I gained invaluable knowledge of period costume, silhouette and detail as well as being responsible for productions including Disney’s ‘Aladdin’, and HBO’s ‘My Dinner with Herve’.
Since going freelance I have had the great pleasure assisting Costume Designer Rosa Dias on the Netflix series ‘Sex Education’ 1, 2 & 3, Channel 4 ‘Year of the Rabbit’ as well as a host of commercials for clients including BT and Amazon Prime.
Design credits of my own include creating costumes for animation director Joseph Wallace on his BAFTA Cymru short film ‘The man who was afraid of falling’ and more recently a sci/fi short film in collaboration with ILM/Industrial Light and Magic.
I am keen to further develop and explore my skills as a Costume Designer and collaborate with more directors in helping achieve their vision for each project. I’m passionate about being able to express my taste for good character design through my own style sensibilities.
