I’m interested to apply on the entertainment position your company posted, It’s with pleasure and excitement that I submit to you my resume and this short presentation letter of my career in the entertainment business.
I've been involved for more than 25 years in show business, I had the privilege to work on many successful productions and events, in various positions as my experience grow and my skills improved. I've occupied management job over the last 15 years, from Technical director, Operation Manager, Site manager, Project manager, Logistic Director.
I've started in the business as a Carpenter and rapidly when on to be Head Carpenter on various theater and television set in my home town of Montreal. The city is renowned for many of is festivals and international event, which I had the pleasure of working on many of them for many years. I was able to gain experience and knowledge on all show’s departments, regularly working with deferent crew on lighting, sound and video, I've also always like working with props.
I got involved a lot with Rigging, working with acrobatic apparatus and artists, over my 15 years at Cirque du Soleil, where I followed formations in that field.
I’ve worked on tour for many years, spending the last 3 on the show Cavalia Asian tour, as Technical director. As mentioned before I've worked on all kind of production from Stadium Live performance, Circus, Theaters, Variety and TV shows, on Radio (as an announcer and technician), also many corporate and private events. I'm familiar with the international transport policies and management.
Being part of a team is what I appreciate the most, I'm as demanding to myself as for the people working with me, which I always treat with decency, respect and fairness. I have a great safety record and work hard to keep it as it is. I take pride in my work and to protect the integrity of the production, making sure every time, our team delivers the best show possible to the public.
