About me
My primary career interests are in production management, production co-ordination and location management. In 2018 I completed a Masters Degree in Collaborative Theatre Design and Production Management at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I specialised in production management. I pursued this Masters Degree after having attended the University of Bristol, achieving a 2:1 in the Theatre, Film and Television BA (joint honours) degree.Initially, decided to pursue a career in theatre and now I am looking to move into the Film and Television industries. Over the course of the last two years, I have worked at Soho Theatre. Whilst there I have acquired many transferable skills which I believe will serve me well in this new career path. Soho theatre is a fast-paced Fringe Theatre with multiple shows in each of their three venues every night. Over the course of my two year career I have been privileged enough to work on over 600 different shows. The rapid turnover of performances have made me extremely adaptable to any situation and I have also increased my problem solving skills exponentially, which was already a strong skill I acquired during my education. In addition, this ever changing environment meant that I met many different teams, people and artists on a daily basis which has helped me develop very strong communication skills. I really enjoyed meeting new people and working as a team to create amazing productions for the public to experience.
As a theatrical production manager, I have worked on multiple projects prior to and alongside my full-time career at Soho Theatre. This has given me very strong organisational skills which I require in order to complete these events alongside my career. Recently, I have predominantly worked as production manager for National Student Pride and Pride in London which are two of the biggest Pride Events in the UK. For Pride in London, I work specifically on the Leicester Square Stage and for National Student Pride I am in charge of all production management and organisational elements. For both events my tasks include: project management (scheduling the event), budget management, booking every aspect required for the event, booking accommodation and travel as required, team management and risk assessing the events. These are all skills that I know are required in Production jobs in the Television and Film industries.
In addition to these experiences, I recently was fortunate enough to work on a feature length film called, Typical, which is currently in Post-Production and I also worked on an online series called, Shedinburgh in August. Working on both these productions has reignited my passion for television and film which I first experienced during my undergraduate degree. It was a joint honours programme which included Television and Film. So although my current career path has been predominantly focused in theatre, I do have experience working on sets, creating and producing content. I look forward to this new chapter in my career and this new challenge, taking all that I have learnt from working in the theatre industry for over seven years and utilising these skills to aid me in my future career path. However, I am also extremely keen to learn new skills and pride myself on being a fast and diligent learner. I am a hard-working individual and acknowledge there will be significant differences in this profession which I will need to educate myself on. I particularly look forward to this and love to learn new skills.
Outside of work and my volunteering, I love photography, cycling and pre-covid played rugby regularly. I hope to get back to playing rugby soon and look forward to being able to include attending the theatre in this list.

Theatre professional:
Theatre has always been a passion of mine and in particular how a show is produced from start to finish. Originally having an interest in acting, I learnt very swiftly that backstage roles was, in my opinion, where the "magic" happened. I observed how stage managers, lighting designers, sound designers, set designers and costume designers contributed these vital elements of each production that I was a part of. Over the years I have sought as much training and experience in many production areas but specialise in stage management as a technical stage manager with knowledge in lighting, sound, AV and set design and operation.
Outside of theatre I love to play rugby, golf and to ski on dry slope.
