I am a BA, Film and Communications scholar approaching my fourth year of a leading program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Thus far, I have gained a solid understanding of the history of film and various film genres. From a practical standpoint, I have witnessed behind-the-scenes footage of popular TV series productions involved in developing a compelling production for viewers. This past year, I have had the opportunity to participate as a volunteer in The Amazing Race Canada – Fearless Productions in Waterloo. I also shadowed an Assistant Director while touring the set on Nurses, a Global medical drama series that captured compelling life stories
