About me
I’ve always enjoyed the arts, and in more recent years, specifically costume design and making. Since the age of 12 I have challenged myself with making more and more elaborate costumes from scratch to push creativity and technical abilities. Prior to starting my costume degree at UAL Wimbledon, I had taught myself how to sew (including hand and machine sewing, embroidery and embellishing), draft patterns and construct costumes in a variety of style/ periods based on my designs. Since starting my degree, I have not only learnt the professional techniques for repairs, construction and fittings, but also learnt new skills such as cutting on the stand and corsetry. I am passionate about my craft and will always strive to improve my technique and creative ability. My aim is to work in a variety of creative environments from film sets to theatre with a team of other creative professionals to learn from and pool our creative knowledge.Skills
