About me
I would consider myself a resourceful, energetic and social practitioner interested in technology and personnel management.I have worked in theatre as a lighting tech and console operator from the early age of 16. I started my career at my local theatre where I worked as a casual lighting technician while I was studying Technical theatre at barking college.
After I finished college I went on to work for White Light LTD as a apprentice where I trained and worked in each department at the White light wearhouse where I gained a load of knowledge and experience with a wide range of lighting equipment. I also worked with the events and installation teams at White Light LTD where I worked on a variety of events and installations.
After finishing my apprenticeship I went on to study Creative Lighting Control at Rose Bruford college where I trained in lighting programming and as a production electrician.
After graduating from Rose Bruford in september 2018 I did a few days of shadowing the lighting director Dave Davey at elstree studios on the voice kids as I wanted to get some experience in TV lighting, this showed me that TV is definitely the sector I wish to operate in. Since then I have done a couple days with 808 create at the television centre working on the Jonathan Ross show.
I am very keen on getting into TV, I believe the skills and knowledge I have learned over the years in theatre can be applied to TV lighting, I would consider myself a fast learner and always keen to learn more.
