French painters fascination with an old Mersey ferryboat
The MS Royal Iris served as a ferryboat on the River Mersey in Liverpool during the 1960s, playing host to concerts from The Beatles amongst others. It ended up abandoned in disrepair on the banks of the Thames in London. Lorraine Fossi, an ex-pat French painter found the Iris and it inspired her latest exhibition.
