A story about a boy who discovers that he has an amazing talent for running at a time in his life when everything else has gone into flux..

A teenage dreamer's world is ripped apart when he and his sister have to leave their idyllic home by the sea and move in with their mother's new partner. He battles his sense of loss and worthlessness by pouring all his energies into becoming an exceptional athlete only to find that he has to face choices just like his father who won a gold in the Olympics the year that he left.
