Only ever viewed, never touched
Seriously, does anyone ever at least get a comment as to why they never got the job. So far I am batting zero and have never had any interest shown in my voice over jobs that I have sent recording in for.
I am seriously thinking that Mandy is a waste of money. If I am going to give my time and money away, I can do it anywhere
Once an application indicated "under consideration" the date changed a few times so I think I had made another round of cuts. But I didn't end up getting the Gig.
I still find Mandy to be a good resource and have gotten a couple of jobs from it. More than Backstage.
It takes persistence and you have to make subtle changes to your auditions, either in delivery, audio quality, cover letter...whatever it takes. You can get noticed, and you will get offers....eventually.
Don't just rely on Mandy either. Lots of other platforms to get noticed. I had zero offers on Mandy in 6 years. Got 3 in the last 4 months. Even turned one down, as it asked for more than my voice acting skills.
Keep trying.
