Hi all...
I’m a noob to Mandy, and have a LOT of questions .. but shall limit it to just this one for the time being ...:
Profile Views...
‘Candidate ‘ - are these lovely lot popping up on my page as candidates for the same audition that I’ve submitted for, or are they simply folk that have actually ‘searched’ for me/ just randomly clicked n my profile/pic...??
I’ve only been a member for about 3 weeks and have already had nearly 250 views... ( didn’t think I was that interesting tbh
Editorial Comment Hi there Richard,
I don't know if you're aware, but we recently revised how we classify profile views, to better allow you to track how often you're seen. If you go into the profile views panel you can see there are now three different types - 'profile views', 'file views' and 'search results'; the definitions of these are as follows;
File: The user has viewed your file
Profile: The user has only viewed your profile
Search Result: You have appeared in the user's search results.
We only used to track profile views, so the number would go up specifically when someone opened up your own individual profile. With the addition of 'search results' however, we also keep tabs on how many times you appear in searches, or on other pages that members might view such as company pages, agency profiles and listings for specific productions you were involved in. The idea behind this to allow you to better understand not only how many times you are being seen on a day-to-day basis, but also the context of these views, so you can more accurately keep an eye on the impact of your work and any changes you make.
If you are concerned about any views, in particular, you are always welcome to get in touch at emails@mandy.com and we can investigate.
Kind regards,
The Mandy Admin Team
