Hey everyone, so I'm located in Toronto ànd I'm just interested in developing some connections with anyone in related to film, tv, theater, production. LOCATED IN TORONTO. I'm looking for camera and crew members actors, dancers, models, directors, producers pretty much anyone in the industry. Hey, all my fellow creatives! I have a question for you. I'm conducting some research on the film industry and what it's like to be an aspiring artist, so I want to ask you: What do you think is the most difficult part of this industry? Is it getting noticed? Building a demo reel? Getting experience behind the camera? Getting an agent? It may be anything and I'd really appreciate some of your thoughts it would help me out a lot! This is a great idea. My name is Meina Istafanous. I'm an 32 year old aspiring actor from Mississauga. This whole acting thing started on whim for during covid as I was bored so I decided to take an acting class and see how it went. I fell in live with acting after the first class and haven't stopped taking classes ever since.
I have taken a beginner class at Alza Acting Studio and currently taking an Camera classes at LB and a scene study class at The Actors Room.

I thought I'd chime in here and introduce myself. I'm Marc - I'm new to Mandy (and Toronto), although I've been acting for quite a while now. My experience is definitely more in live theatre productions, although the pandemic was a bit of a wake up call in terms of the versatility and 'stability' of film and voice acting (as it compares to live theatre). So I shifted gears and voila! Now I'm here! I wish you all lots of meaningful work in the near future and maybe I will see you on set :) Cheers!

I am half Viet and Chinese, born and raised in Toronto. I first got into acting back in high school for my drama classes and quickly fell in love with it. I recently graduated from George Brown College for the Acting in Media program. Having a lot of fun doing short film projects and working creatively with people. I’ve always been active in athletics and the arts. I used to play basketball, soccer, volleyball, and run track & field competitively. Now, I do those things recreationally when I can. Aside from that, I like to draw and paint sometimes. I like to look at life optimistically, and am always excited to try new experiences and challenges. I am now focusing on film & TV, and very interested in Mo-Cap work as well. Looking forward to collaborating and creating with y’all!
