COMPANY OVERVIEWThunderhawk Pictures will soon be launching their new project call Thunderkit whose aim is to provide very affordable film equipment hire to young filmmakers around the UK. We will be funding and building the equipment hire company through crowdfunding with the help of independent filmmakers who will be able to pre-buy vouchers to hire equipment with, for half the price. Our prices will be as low as £55 for a Black Magic Ursa mini 4.6 Package with 5 Cine Samyang lenses.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Associates on this project will work as affiliates to bring on board backers for the campaign. This could be filmmaker colleagues, producers, production companies that would be interested in purchasing vouchers to hire out our equipment for a discounted price. The easiest place to start looking for potential backers will be through your own social and work circles and pitch the idea to other filmmakers that you know. This is therefore a great opportunity for those who know a lot of indie ilmmakers and producers. We will provide training on how to find backers and pitch the idea to them.SALARYThis job will be commission based in the following way:You will receive 10% of any backing that you bring in. For example if you know of a friend who will need equipment for their next short or indie feature film and will have a budget of £1000 you can simply get them to back the campaign using your personal code and you will receive £100 from that sale.You can also bring on board more people who would be interested in being associates on the campaign. For every person you bring on board you will receive 5% of any sales that they then make.OTHER BENEFITSWe will be running meetings with everyone on the team to discuss how the campaign is progressing which is a great way to meet like minded filmmakers and to network. You will also be notified when the next larger scale campaign starts and will be offered a place to work on it. Finally this is a great opportunity to learn how a large-scale crowdfunding campaign is run and to learn valuable skills to use if you plan to run your own in the future.
