About me

Taking Business instead of Drama at school led to Bartley gaining a hugely varied and experiential career path before eventually discovering that acting was the missing link. The once Bank Manager even had to take his Advanced Krav Maga Skills to the next level by becoming a Professional MMA Fighter in his early 30's to get that step closer to walking the boards. When retiring from fighting missing the performance aspect Bartley began to perform in Stage Plays and was given a Feature Film Role by a visiting film director. This taste was enough to convince Bartley to pursue the thing that truly makes him happy. Having not gone straight to drama school he has invested heavily in his training including Birmingham School of Acting (BSA) to help underpin his performance and craft. He is a member of the Actors Centre and also employs a regular Acting Coach for continual professional development. After returning from Nepal where he trekked the Himalayas to study Meditation and Yoga he moved to London. A casting suited to Gritty and Action roles. He is also naturally comedic due to a dry humour.
