About me
I am a freelance theatre maker and performer based in the East Midlands. I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2019, an have since been involved in a variety of projects. I have led a children's workshop at Mansions of The Future, in Lincoln, as part of their family sessions. Along with a fellow graduate, I founded a children's and family theatre company 'Under The Bed Theatre'. My original work with 'Under The Bed Theatre' stems from a lot of ‘playing’ and devising. We use movement, live music, original songs and storytelling to create playful yet thought provoking theatre. We aim to create theatre which makes people laugh and smile, whilst also making them think about the world around them. We performed our debut show 'Where The Lost Socks Go' at Newvolutions Festival, Lincoln, in January 2020. One of my main passions is physical theatre, having danced from a young age and completing a physical theatre module as part of my Drama course. I am an enthusiastic and approachable person, and I love working as part of a team. I have a warm and friendly demeanour, and have great communication skills. I have a positive outlook on life, and love to keep busy, as well as learning about new and different things.Additional skills:
Experience in choreography- working at Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust as an Assistant Dance Teacher
