About me
I was introduced to film/TV work through Little Woodham 17th Century living history village in Gosport, which is not only open to the public, but also used as a popular film location. I have full blacksmithing insurance which fully covers me to make lots of sparks for TV and to entertain the public at Little Woodham, and it also covers me to work at any location and allows me to teach blacksmithing (I run forge experience days).I have been fortunate to work with both small and large production companies such as BBC, Channel 5, WAGTV and a number of independent film companies and film students. The longest speaking part I've had so far was a 10 min. piece to camera where I demonstrated traditional blacksmithing techniques and discussed the role of the village blacksmith for a Canadian film company.
As well as blacksmithing, my other skills include horse riding, rock climbing, karate and shooting. I also hold a full Commercial Pilot license and I'm trained in competition aerobatics. I am easy going and will consider all types of work. I'm looking forward to building on my current experience and venturing in to new areas where I can use my skills and develop further.
