About me
I have a dance and theatre degree, on graduating from university I undertook Theatre in education projects within which I travelled the country. Following this I went back to university to study a post graduate qualification in arts management, whilst studying I set up my own dance school and begun to teach dance. At the same time I set up a theatre company in partnership with another student. We successfully toured this company in the South west of the country, culminating in a run at the Edinburgh Festival, I choreographed, co-directed, co-managed and performed in this piece. On completing the Edinburgh Fringe Festival I parted ways with my co-director and then performed on the London cabaret circuit for a period of time.In the last three years I have written and performed a lot of my own work as well as working with directors in theatre and film. A great achievement was producing my one-women show and taking it to Edinburgh 2011 for the whole run of the festival.
