About me
Gemma-Louise is a dedicated and passionate performer with high aspirations and lots of enthusiasm.Before becoming an actor, Gemma had an extensive career as a professional violinist and singer. Highlights included performing at venues such as Queen Elizabeth Hall, Koko, London Palladium and King's Place, and recording at the prestigious Maida Vale studios for both BBC radio 1 and 1xtra. However, after several amazing years of gigging in and around London it was time for Gemma to pursue her true calling as a performer - acting.
As an actor, Gemma has experience in various different mediums. Whether it's playing Dick Whittington in panto or a labouring mother in a feature film, Gemma loves creating a variety of characters and dedicates herself to bringing those characters to life.
She has a lot of tools in her toolbox to make this happen encompassing parts of several different acting techniques. These include Sam Kogan's 'Science of Acting', John Osborne Hughes's 'Spiritual Psychology of Acting' as well as elements of the Meisner Technique. The characters Gemma creates are always formed with care creating a complete, well rounded character but with a life like spontaneity.
Gemma-Louise prides herself on her commitment to her work, and always adopts a professional attitude.
