About me
I am a versatile and physical character actor, with extensive theatre and television experience. I have toured nationally to mid scale theatres and have worked for numerous TIE/Community Theatre companies, as an actor, writer and devisor and I also have puppetry and clowning performance experience I have a strong singing voice and am accomplished at singing in close harmony arrangements. I have worked on many television dramas, including 'The Forsyte Saga','Donovan' and 'See No Evil', I also play the returning character, DC Merrick in 'Coronation Street'. I endeavour to create quirky, physical characters who engage with the outside world on an honest level filled with pathos and joy. I am interested in social theatre that explores the issues that concern us on a day to day level, and I enjoy the challenges of working and delivering performances in non theatre spaces to a diversity of audiences.Additional skills:
