About me

Graduate of Performance Art at UWIC, I have worked in a variety of entertainment related jobs as a musician, singer, actor, writer and director. I founded and ran a successful swing / rock and roll band called The Zen Hussies from 2001 to 2018. I have worked as a professional Tour Guide, voiceover artist, and actor in various stage and film productions. I also write, direct, edit and perform in my own film comedy sketches that can be seen on YouTube and Instagram under the guise of my Z-List TV channel. I play several musical instruments including guitar, clarinet and harmonica and sing, and can act in almost any accent and style imaginable, just some of which are revealed in my film portfolio.
Acting experience:
Shakespeare with the Rondo Theatre, as Dogberry and Aguecheek.
Over 10,000 hours of improvised and devised live performance experience as an actor, musician and living history interpreter.
Voice actor in radio adaptation The Russian Winter with Bristol Old Vic Theatre.
Various minor roles in TV.
Additional skills:
Accents- almost any. Improvisation and devised action and dialogue. Script writing, technically savvy as to the nuts and bolts and language of film making. Music and eccentric dance.
Industry awards:
Elected as Bard of Bath in 2001 for my contribution to the poetic culture of the city and my anthology of verse ‘Imagine A Menagerie’.
Additional information:
Participant in several workshops and professional projects with Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
