About me
I initially trained as a Graphic Designer (BA Hons) and worked for a number of years in London as creative director in design/ advertising agencies, prior to going to Drama School.Since leaving GSA I worked professionally for a couple of years but parted company with my agent St James’s Management, to bring up my three children. Returning to the profession two years ago once my children had grown up I was taken on by Patrick Management.
I have done mostly theatre work to date but wish to gain more experience in television and film. I set up BareBulb Theatre in 2012 and do a variety of work under this name: I write and direct plays for a local primary school as well as teaching drama and dance there as a freelance, and have directed and acted in two plays which I took out rural touring. I still do freelance design work also in between acting work.
Acting experience:
Trained at Guildford School of Acting (GSA)
Have worked mostly in theatre but also in film and TV
Have own home studio for Voiceover work
Additional skills:
Skiing, tennis, tap dancing, sailing, cycling, graphic design, painting, yoga, computer literate,
scuba diving
Additional information:
I have 3 adult children and live in Dorset but have a base in Hackney for any London work.
