About me
I have been dancing from the age of 5. Training in classical ballet, tap and modern. At 19 I graduated college and began my proffesional dance career.In 2006 I was runner up on BBC 1 Strictly Dance Fever hosted by Graham Norton. It was here I met dance partner Darren Bailey. It was during the show that I discovered my passion for partner dancing and began my intense training in Swing, Latin and Ballroom dances to add to my repertoire. On leaving the show I have enjoyed a great deal of success as a guest entertainer travelling all over the UK, Europe, Middle East and Scandinavia, performing, choreographing and conducting workshops.
Additional skills:
I am skilled in almost all areas of partner dance, specialising in lindy hop. In which I perform high impact specialist arials and throws with my dance partner along with pas de deux style lifts.
Additional information:
I am also a member of London based dance company 'Swing Extreme' directed by Broadway choreographer Ryan Francois. Specialsing in dance styles from the 1920's through to modern day fusions.
I have a full UK driving licence.
