About me
Lizzie Franks is a versatile performer with experience in TV, short films, classical acting, devising, physical theatre, puppetry and presenting. She is best known for her role in BBC's Grandpa In My Pocket in which she plays the part of 'Bubbles The Babysitter'. She is the Creative Director of a new company called Trailblaze who have recently performed at the York Theatre Royal. She has studied Shakespeare and Jacobean performance at LAMDA and recieved a 1st BA Honours degree and a Dean's Commendation for outstanding work in Drama from Exeter University 2009. She will be performing the part of 'Winnie The Witch' with Watershed Productions in Manchester this Christmas. She also has played the parts of Matilda and Sophie in the Roald Dahl audio books. She also sings (mezzo-soprano) and plays saxophone and piano (both grade 6). She is confident working with children and animals. She has starred in a short film alongside Susan Jameson (New Tricks) with JonRennie Productions.
